Carnex is the leading company on the territory of Serbia in the field of meat and meat products. The range of our products comprises bacon, smoked products, delicatessen, fermented dry sausages, cooked meat chubbs, cooked meat, sterilized products in foil and can, ready meals and fat. Carnex was founded in 1958 in Vrbas. Primarily, production programme aimed at export to England market, because of which the company was named Carnex, as a combination of the words carne (lat. meat) and export. After only ten years, we became one of the most important producers of meat and meat-processed products.

Today, good taste begins and ends in this factory. By purchasing facilities and investing in five business centers, factory became big agricultural complex during 90’s.

Today, Carnex is a vertically integrated company, which employs over 2000 people.

Our meat processing industry was rewarded with many awards and recognitions at the fairs, expositions and other official evaluations of meat products quality, such as “Golden mercury”, “Yugoslav quality champion of 20 century”, “Golden Victor Award”.
We were given an international recognition for quality “Gold star” in Geneva, Switzerland.
Today, Carnex is synthesis of tradition and contemporarity-grows and develops along with new trends, while at the same time it stays faithful to its basic qualities.
