
Results of research conducted by the ‘TNS Medium Galup’ agency from Belgrade and the ‘Blic’ daily newspaper during the middle of November 2008 showed that Carnex is among the 20 most prestigious companies in Serbia. The aim of the research was to show what positions companies operating in Serbia have in the eyes of the consumers. Evaluation was conducted in 6 categories – company reputation, product quality, social responsibility, employee care, employment attractiveness and advertising. In the category of product quality, Carnex took the high seventh place.
Carnex is at the same time the only company from the meat industry group which takes such a high position.

Carnex pate represents one of the 13 best products from the category of consumer goods. This is the result of the activity under the name ‘The best brands of Serbia’ which was organized by the daily economics journal ‘Economic Review’ under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Commerce and Services and the Serbian Chamber of Commerce.
The Top Corner award which went to the Carnex pate included promotions in large commercial chains during January. Pates were recommended to consumers as some of the best products in Serbia.
The criteria for the choice of award winners in the activity ‘Best from Serbia’ 2008 are based on three groups of indicators:
• Market and financial criteria
• Consumer perception - opinion polls
• Free jury evaluations – general impression
The aim of the activity was the promotion of high-quality products, familiar brands and designs, competitive prices as well as encouragement of competitiveness of domestic economy and raising the consumers’ awareness regarding domestic products as well as improving their attitude towards domestic products. Carnex is the only company from the meat industry group which takes its place among the 13 best ones.
